11 January 2003 - 1:34 p.m. My computer is so happy now. Cleaning house was the best idea I ever had. Mac OS X is so great. Apple just released its own version of the X11 winow system which is kind of like Linux, but more Unixy if that makes any sense. Their new version has graphics acceleration and runs right along with the Mac applications. This is so cool. At this very moment, I am running Mac OS X applications, a Java App, and The GIMP on my iBook. I mean, just look. The Terminal in the bottom left corner and The Gimp in the top right corner are running on X11. The browser is from Apple and is called Safari. That's new too. The app in the bottom right is called jbidwatch. It's a Java application for managing and bidding on ebay auctions. Can you say geekgasm? (0) Comments?
