Can anyone recommend specific audio-books of any of Shakespeare's plays? I had one of Hamlet once, but the production wasn't very good.

Here's a screenshot of what I can download from iTunes, although if something better is available on CD or elsewhere, I would certainly prefer the quality over the convenience.

In almost every presidential election since photography and television became mainstream, the taller candidate or the candidate with the most hair has won.

John Kerry is both taller, and has more hair than George Bush.

So now, the people who boycotted The Last Temptation of Christ are angry at people for boycotting The Passion of the Christ.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you haven't seen a movie, you're opinion of the movie is meaningless and invalid.

Censorship or the suppression of ideas and art is bad no matter what the subject matter.

I got a new mouse!

I highly recommend the Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks. It's a little smaller than most mice, but it's not a mini-mouse like most of the notebook-mice are. It's a little heavier than most mice because of the batteries, but I like that.

We bought a DVD for the cats. It shows mice and birds and butterflies with a soundtrack that sounds like chirping or squeaking. The cats are absolutely fascinated with it.

I was poking around in the menus for the DVD.

It has an option to play the director's commentary.

The     director's     commentary.

The justice Department is trying to subpoena Planned Parenthood's records.

But, don't worry, they're not going to keep track of the women who have had abortions. And, they certainly aren't doing this to intimidate anyone. They're just trying to defend themselves in a lawsuit.

Bull-fucking-shit.

Clear Channel Entertainment has pulled Howard Stern off the air because the FCC has forced them to censor their broadcasts.

This country slips away more and more every day.

Without freedom of speech, there is no U.S.A.

Freedom of speech is the single most important right that we are guaranteed by the constitution. Without it, we are not Americans.

We've spent so much time defending the flag that we forgot to defend the country.

Funny thing is, Stern was suspended right after he started criticizing (OK, bashing) George W. Bush.

Coincidence? I wonder.
