21 September 2002 - 10:56 a.m. A dog was hit by a car in front of my house today. Several people called animal control and the police. That was an hour ago. The dog died. There are now about a dozen little kids on my street who have no respect for the cops. Me too. Would it have killed them to divert someone on patrol to just make an appearance? Would it have killed them to make a few friends in a mostly black neighborhood? Cruisers are up and down my street all the time, but not now. I am wholely disappointed. (0) Comments?
