Veganism It has been shown that when a tree is attacked by termites or chopped down, it will emit chemical scents like pheromones which other trees in the area react to. Trees have a very primitive nervous system which suddenly becomes very active when they sense the chemicals. The electrochemical reaction that trees have to danger is similar to the reactions that animals have. Trees just can't move. They can't escape. They are forced to stand and watch as their counterparts are hacked up. Do you know what this means? Trees scream. So, vegans do not have a higher moral code than omnivores. They're just better insulated from the aftermath of their dietary holocaust. (0) Comments?
